Rivers State Govt & M.R.S Ent. presents 'Miss Rivers State Reality Beauty Pageant' Season 2

 It is a Beauty Pageant that is designed to showcase the riches of Rivers Culture by assembling together the most elegant, sophisticated, intelligent young women representing the whole 23 Local Government in Rivers State and Eco-Tourism Exhibitions. It will be a celebration of Culture fused into gradeur of Musical Entertainments for the people and visitors to understand the richness of the Rivers People.


Miss Rivers State Reality Beauty Pageant is been proposed in order to showcase the Beauty, the Rich culture tourism potential in Rivers as a whole, that's why it's a fusion of pageant, Entertainment and Business (Tourism), which Rivers is richly endowed with.

In a statement written by the Director of the Pageant Raphael Koko on Sunday at a press Briefing at the Greenwood Court Hotel in Port Harcourt.

'This pageant will not only celebrate the Grand Beauty of Rivers State, but will also outline the Tourism Potentials available in all the Local Government Area and the indeligene all over the world, to exhibit the natural and mineral Resources' available in the State, and to enjoy the display of traditional history; therefore displaying it's rich hospitality and cultural History of the people to everyone to see (Eco-Tourism).

RAPHAEL KOKO the Director of M.R.S entertainments also said the Exhibition will base on the conceptualization of the purposes and the actual object of the Eco-Tourism. The Eco-Tourism he said "is a symbol of unity and a communication tool used for both Culture and Business.
The Exhibition segment of the pageant seeks to create a dynamic visual medley of the conceptualize cultures and it's purposes welcoming the visitors to reflect upon their own personal journey and their history.

Theme: The Role of the Woman in the New Rivers Vision.

A special Edition to commemorate His Excellency Barr. Nyesom Ezenwo Wike for fulfilling the campaign promises in his blue print and also the creative intellectual propensity he is bringing to create a New and Better Rivers State; with New Thinking and New Opportunity.

And also Her Excellency Dr. Mrs.Ipalibo Harry Banigo for been the first Female Deputy Governor of the State.

Boot Camp for Miss Rivers commence on the 28th of February 2016 to 13th March as the Grand Finale.

Winner goes Home with an annual salary of Two Milion Naira, An official car, and top the top 5 takes a one year academic Schorlaship of N150k each.

Who can apply? Rivers indegines and Non indegines who have Rivers State as their place of birth or must have lived a minimum of 10 years in Rivers
